Violations and blocking

What counts as a content rules violation, when an account is blocked and how to appeal.

What counts as a violation

  • the request was rejected by our automatic filter — such a request is never sent to the model;
  • the model’s safety filter rejected the request because of an attached file — an image, video or audio;
  • the model hid the result by returning an empty (black) frame.

If a model’s filter rejected only the text of the prompt, no violation is counted automatically: filters vary in strictness and sometimes trigger on harmless descriptions. Try different wording or another model.

Credits

Credits for rejected generations go back to your balance. After each violation the service tells you how many attempts are left.

When an account is blocked

  • 5 violations within 30 days — automatic block: generations and payments become unavailable, the remaining credits are not refunded;
  • 8 or more requests rejected by models within 60 minutes — generations are paused (this is what trying wordings to bypass filters looks like), and the administration reviews the block;
  • for attempts to create material involving minors or clearly illegal content, the administration may block an account without warning.

If you were blocked by mistake

Model filters sometimes make mistakes — for example, on ordinary portraits. Email [email protected]: we review every case manually.
